About
- What is this? - this was a project dedicated to building an up-to-date collection of great, free portable software for easy installation and use.
- What's in it? - list of included freeware
- v. 1.3 beta - note that this release is over a year old and contains very out-of-date software. I haven't worked out how to solve licensing issues. Download

I suggest you replace Winamp with Foobar2000. It is lighter, simpler and easy to use. Supports almost every imaginable audio format and doesn't need installing.

Foobar IS excellent and Winamp has been replaced -- I just need to update the software list.
If it were possible I would include them both, but Winamp does not allow for redistribution of its software.
Thanks for the feedback!
is there any way i can personally merge the old version and the new version so i can have the programs you had to remove?
Good question -- I put up a specific post to address that.
Thanks for the fast response. I've been useing it for a while now and think its a great collection of tools. Playing with the new one now.
Would you be able to give me a list of the programs removed from 1.0 to now?
Ohh and I was also wondering. How would I make it where panel don't show up automatically when i run it. I prefer not to use it because the panel is alot slower and makes it run slower when I put in my flash. If I can get that not to come up right away I probably wouldn't have to wait as long before use. Otherwise for some reason i have to give it a min for it not to run slow.

I certainly could but that would take quite a while and - at least at the moment - I think my efforts are better served elsewhere.

In the panel, open Setup from the Menu and chose "Settings"
In the tab on the left, go to "General" and uncheck "Show panel on Startup"
Thanks for your question!
